Making this website and promoting my services has been on my list for quite some time now and I am excited to find out where this journey will lead me to. What drives me, is the desire to share the immense pleasures the outdoors give me, to open this door for others, and especially those who think they don’t belong to there.
When I started to take my first tentative steps into the outdoor world, I also didn’t feel I belonged there. I compared myself – well in my forties, not especially sporty, wearing my son’s rain jacket – with “the others”, mostly male, younger, stronger and better equipped.
But being “outdoorsy” isn’t about clothing, gear, fitness, age, gender or experience. All you need is curiosity to embrace the unknown, and willingness to challenge yourself – and you will be on the journey to discover the outdoors – and yourself.
