You don’t need to leave London to learn the basics of navigating: I just ran a workshop in Bushy Park and the participants were not only quick in learning how to use map and compass, but also keen in finding out about the park inhabitants: The animal bingo got all our eyes peeled (yes, we were a competitive assembly), and only a few, like the water vole, weren’t spotted.
I’m so chuffed, that everyone enjoyed the day just as much as myself: “I never thought I will get using a map and compass so quick but with Mona teaching at the end of the walk I was quite confident to find the next path”, reads one review. And: “Mona had clearly researched the park and was able to tell us interesting facts about it.” Another: “It was a really enjoyable day and we’ll be sure to arrange another one soon.” Yesss, guys, let’s take this game to the next level!
If you’d like to spend a day learning new things in a fun and playful way – with your family, or a group of friends – do get in touch and I’ll strive to make sure, you’ll get the most out of it!
