We can all do with a bit of nature and I want to give you the tools and skills so you can feel safe and in charge when you’re out and about.

I offer hikes around London and further away, and whilst we enjoy the nature and breathing fresh air, you’ll learn navigation skills, how to stay safe and all the other little things that will help you to make and enjoy your own adventures in the future.

I am a qualified Countryside Leader (CLA), DBS checked, and all activities are covered by my Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Friston Forest and Seven Sisters Circular Path

Starting from Exceat we enter Friston Forest passing the ancient village of West Dean and church, a Saxon building from before the Norman conquest of England.

The Forest itself offers plenty of opportunities to practice navigating before we turn south towards the coast and enjoy the ups and downs and scenic views of Seven Sisters and Birling Gap.

This 15 km circular trail located near Eastbourne is rated moderate but the coast part can be challenging.

Navigation Workshop in Woldingham

Meeting at Woldingham Station (15 minutes from East Croydon Station) we enter “The Bushes” a beautiful forest leading up a hill, to learn and practice navigation with help of compass and map.

You will learn how to read the map, how to plan a route, how to navigate using your compass, how to calculate your pace and what to do, if you get lost.
