Show and Tell Part 3: Emma’s Scuba Hoodie

I know Emma as a climbing instructor, but she’s also a yoga teacher and an artist, creating the most beautiful collages (amongst many other things) – check out her page @emmamooreillustration on Facebook. Her ‘Show and Tell’ is right up my street when it comes to comfort wear. She asked me to crop out her “messy” studio but a) I don’t know how to do this properly and b) I quite like the look of it, so here’s her story:

“The Scuba Hoodie…aah..the most perfect hoodie ever made and this is why – I’m small in the upper body and I like something to fit without having short arms or not being long enough. Most tight fit hoodies do that but not this one. It’s expensive (£98) but often half price in the regular Lululemon sale called ‘We made too much’ which is always on their website. It has an oversized hood and funnel neck made of extra thick material, quite structured, so it looks good and doesn’t blow off in the wind. It also allows you to look sideways without it blocking your view. It stays in place and if you get the right size for you, is exactly the right length so that it’s neither a crop or hip length and doesn’t ride up because the bottom of the zipper is slightly longer than the rest of it. There’s enough arm space to wear a light jacket underneath and you can wear it loose or tight, depending on size and it will always look good. It’s also warm and sweat wicking, meaning you can wear it in spring, summer and autumn. This one is my favourite – multi grey camo. You can buy scuba hoodies from ebay but because they seem to adapt to your own body shape, this is often a problem. Either that or people have washed them on overly hot wash cycles. Totally worth the money in my opinion. (Lululemon should give me a free one for this much praise!)”
